Most trials bill on the day they end; some bill a day early. Check the terms of yours. Nothing you enter leaves your browser.
Forgot to cancel? Here's what to do.
Cancel now so it can't bill again. iPhone: Settings → your name → Subscriptions. Android: Play Store → profile → Payments & subscriptions.
Ask for a refund the same week. Many companies refund a first charge if you ask quickly and haven't used it.
Paid through Apple? Request one at reportaproblem.apple.com. Google Play? Start with the app's developer.
Still stuck? Your card issuer can open a dispute. Last resort, not first.
The FTC's 2024 "click to cancel" rule was struck down in court in 2025; the older federal law (ROSCA) still requires a simple way to cancel online subscriptions.
